Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will launch in global markets within 2026, according to an official confirmation from the company’s chief marketing officer following their debut in Beijing on September 23, 2025. The high-end devices bring substantial upgrades, including custom Snapdragon 8 Elite processors, large battery capacities reaching 8,500 mAh, and multi-screen configurations featuring high-refresh-rate LTPO AMOLED panels.

Global Rollout Plans for Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max

Less than 24 hours after the launch event held in Beijing on September 23, 2025, Xiaomi Chief Marketing Officer Xu Fei confirmed via social media platform X that both the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max are scheduled for a definitive international release. While the company has not yet disclosed an exact calendar date for the global rollout, the devices are expected to reach worldwide markets during the course of 2026. The announcement marks an expansion for Xiaomi’s flagship hardware line into international territories, accompanied by hints from executive leadership that additional features will accompany the regional launches.

Hardware Specifications and Model Differences

The Xiaomi 18 Pro features a primary 6.4-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1120 x 2436 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. On the reverse side, the device incorporates a secondary 2.7-inch LTPO AMOLED auxiliary screen offering 596 x 976 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and matching peak brightness. Internal performance is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor. Imaging capabilities include a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens providing 3.2x optical zoom with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. Power is supplied by a 7,000 mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, alongside IP68 water and dust resistance and Android 17 with HyperOS 4.

The larger Xiaomi 18 Pro Max expands the physical footprint by utilizing a 6.9-inch primary display with a 1208 x 2624 pixel resolution and a 2.9-inch secondary rear screen. Under the hood, this model upgrades to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and houses an increased battery capacity of 8,500 mAh. Both models carry forward the core imaging and software ecosystem introduced at the September 2025 Beijing presentation, positioning them as Xiaomi’s primary contenders in the high-end mobile sector for 2026.
