Yacht Accident: Several Injured After Hudson River Crash

Ten people suffered minor injuries Saturday when a yacht struck a dock along the Hudson River in New York City, according to the New York City Fire Department.The yacht accident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. near the henry Hudson Parkway and West 125th Street.
The FDNY reported that about 400 people were on board the vessel when it collided with the dock.Marine units escorted the yacht to a nearby dock at West 125th Street, where passengers disembarked.
Authorities transported the injured civilians to area hospitals for treatment of minor injuries. Police confirmed a water rescue took place but did not release additional facts.
The cause of the yacht hitting the dock remains under investigation.
