Jakarta – Yamaha is generating buzz ahead of the official launch of its new‌ Aerox Alpha scooter with a series of intriguing teaser videos ​on its Instagram page (@yamahaindonesia). One video, in particular, has sparked curiosity: it features a man forcefully kicking down a door.

But ​what does ⁤this ‍aggressive imagery signify?

According to Rifki Maulana,Manager of Public Relations at ‍PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor ⁤Manufacturing (YIMM),the door-kicking scene shouldn’t⁣ be interpreted negatively. Rather, it reflects the bold and assertive personality of the Aerox ⁢rider.

“We’re riding the wave,” Rifki explained to ⁢reporters at the ⁢Aerox Alpha launch event in Jakarta on Wednesday. “With⁤ the teaser, everyone promptly knows what motorcycle it is indeed. It’s become synonymous with the brand.”

He emphasized that Yamaha isn’t promoting negativity but rather acknowledging ‌the existing perception of Aerox riders as being bold and energetic.

“We’re simply riding the wave,” Rifki continued. “People see the door-kicking and think, ‘Oh, that must​ be the new aerox because ​it’s aggressive.’ So, we‍ provide clear‍ teasers with a message that ‍aligns‍ with the model’s image.”

The Yamaha⁤ Aerox ⁣Alpha is available in four variants with varying price points: Standard (Rp 29,900,000),Cybercity (Rp 33,990,000),Turbo (Rp 39,550,000),and the top-tier Turbo Ultimate (Rp 41,730,000). These prices are on-the-road in Jakarta and exclude additional⁢ taxes.

The new Aerox Alpha boasts a redesigned front end that exudes a more aggressive and sporty aesthetic. It also features full LED lighting for enhanced visibility.​ The rear end sports a sportier brake light design reminiscent ⁤of Yamaha’s R-Series motorcycles.
