The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox will conclude thier series Sunday night, with the Yankees looking to secure a series victory. After a 10-7 loss‌ Saturday,‌ the Yankees seek their ninth series win in their last‍ 10 attempts.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora acknowledged​ Aaron Judge’s impressive season, even after Judge went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts against Boston’s Garrett Crochet on Saturday.It was only⁣ the fifth time ⁣this season Judge has struck​ out three times in a game.Judge is batting.390 and hopes to avoid going hitless in back-to-back games, something that ⁤has only happened once this season.

Despite the loss, the Yankees showed ⁣resilience.Austin Wells drove in four runs with a three-run homer, and DJ LeMahieu added a two-run single in the eighth inning⁢ after the Yankees had trailed by five.

“Just a lot of really ‌good at-bats,up and down the lineup,” Yankees manager Aaron Boone⁢ said. “Competitive at-bats,big at-bats to claw us back in the game.”

The Red Sox,after amassing 14 hits Saturday,aim to win the series. Trevor Story lead the charge with‍ five RBIs,highlighted by a bases-clearing double in the third and a two-run single in the ​ninth.

Carlos ⁢Rodon (8-3, 2.49 ERA) will⁣ start for the Yankees. Rodon is 7-0 with a 1.27 ERA in his⁢ last nine starts since April 18. ⁣Opposing hitters are batting just .167 against him, the best mark in MLB.⁤ He is 4-0 with an 0.72 ERA in his past four outings. In his last start, Rodon allowed one run on five hits in seven innings ⁤against the​ Guardians.

rodon has a 4-4 record with a 3.83 ERA in‍ nine career starts against the ⁢Red Sox. Rafael Devers is 5-for-15 lifetime against Rodon. Last season, Rodon went 2-1‍ with a 4.86 ERA in three starts against Boston.

Boston will counter with rookie right-hander Hunter Dobbins (2-1, 4.06 ERA), making his eighth career start. Dobbins last started May 24 against the Baltimore Orioles,allowing⁢ four runs in four innings.⁣ This will be Dobbins’ first appearance against the Yankees.
