Yavapai County Broadband Initiative: High-Speed Internet Coming to Verde Villages
Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter announced that the Yavapai County Broadband Initiative (YCBI) will partner with Sparklight to install Broadband in the Verde Villages starting in early December. This project will use funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The installation will provide high-speed broadband service to 4,411 properties along Arizona Highway 260, just east of Cottonwood.
YCBI and Sparklight will hold three identical meetings in the cafeteria of Mingus Union High School at 6 PM on November 21, 25, and 26. These meetings will inform attendees about the project’s history, the areas receiving connectivity, and the contractor selection process.
