As Sean “Diddy” Combs awaits developments in his sex crimes trial, his son, King Combs, and Ye have launched a collaborative album titled “Never Stop.” The project, released Friday, includes a feature from North West and serves as support for Diddy.
Ye, a vocal supporter of Diddy, announced the surprise release of “Never Stop” just hours before it became available. The title references Diddy’s well-known ”can’t stop, won’t stop” mantra. The seven-track project is entirely produced by Ye.
The opening track, “Lonely Road,” features north West and Jasmine Williams. The song was initially released in March as “Lonely roads Still Go to Sunshine.”
“Surrounded by fake friends I don’t even like/When you see me shining then you see the light,” North raps. “when you see me shining, then you see the light/Everything they wrote it ain’t even right.”
The album also includes “Kim,” a dedication to King Combs’ late mother, Kim Porter.
