Córdoba Expands Yellow Fever Vaccination Hours as travel Season Heats Up

Córdoba, Argentina – With travel season in full swing, health officials in Córdoba province are taking steps to ensure residents and visitors are protected against yellow fever. Expanded hours and days have been announced for yellow fever vaccination clinics in the capital city.

the single-dose yellow fever vaccine offers lifelong immunity against this possibly deadly disease, making it a crucial precaution for those traveling to or living in areas where the virus is present.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for people to get vaccinated,” said a spokesperson for the Córdoba Ministry of Health. “Expanding vaccination hours will help accommodate busy schedules and ensure everyone has access to this important protection.”

Where to Get Vaccinated:

Several hospitals in Córdoba city are offering yellow fever vaccinations:

San roque Viejo Hospital: Rosario de Santa Fe 374, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Appointments required through CiDi.
Hospital Misericordia: Belgrano 1502, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:30 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. Appointments by phone.
Hospital Pediátrico: Av. Castro Barros 650, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Appointments by phone.
Hospital Rawson: Bajada Pucará esq. Ferroviarios, Monday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Appointments required through CiDi.

Appointments are mandatory at all locations.

For the ex-Hospital San Roque and Hospital rawson, appointments must be made through CiDi. Individuals need a CiDi account and can schedule appointments online at https://turnero.cba.gov.ar/turnos.

Hospital Misericordia and Hospital Pediátrico offer appointments by phone at 0800-555-4141, option 1.

Individuals with upcoming travel plans who are unable to secure an appointment can visit the san Roque Viejo Hospital vaccination clinic during the listed hours. Cases will be evaluated, and the vaccine will be administered if appropriate.

In Argentina, the national vaccination schedule includes yellow fever vaccination for residents of provinces with a risk of viral circulation: Formosa, Misiones, Corrientes, and parts of Chaco, Salta, and Jujuy.
