Ylenia Padilla Returns to TV and Reveals Truth About José Labrador

Ylenia Padilla has returned to television after a five-year absence, appearing on Telecinco’s ‘¡De viernes!’ to discuss her past and present relationship with José Labrador.

The former ‘Gandía Shore’ contestant revealed that she entered the 2012 reality show at Labrador’s urging, after meeting him through social media. She described their initial connection as one built on illusion, saying they had already developed a rapport online before meeting in person on the show.

Padella characterized her time with Labrador as more toxic than positive, stating that calling it a “relationship” seemed excessive. She recalled moments of manipulation and disrespect, including instances where Labrador allegedly spoke negatively about her behind her back while portraying himself as a victim.

Despite acknowledging some affection, Padilla made clear she no longer wishes to have Labrador in her life, referring to him as ungrateful and easily influenced by those who have treated him poorly. She specifically referenced his participation in ‘La casa de los gemelos’, claiming he was misled about production conditions and chose to trust individuals who did not pay him or support him.

Padilla asserted that Labrador was brought back to the show only after she initially agreed to participate, suggesting his return was contingent on her involvement. She said he was ultimately removed unfairly and later reinstated due to her potential participation, a situation she described as him being “thrown out the back door” and then recalled because she was going to attend.

The interview marked Padilla’s first major television appearance in over five years, during which she had stepped away from the media to focus on her personal well-being, faith, and family. She expressed feeling ready to re-enter the public eye, but only under her own terms.
