British Express Company Yodel Expands into China’s E-commerce Parcel Market

Recently, the British express delivery company Yodel signed cooperation agreements with a number of Chinese logistics e-commerce companies. In the future, Yodel will deliver approximately 50 million packages to these Chinese customers every year.

In fiscal year 2023, Yodel’s business volume increased by 3% and revenue increased by 3.4%. Yodel maintains cooperative relationships with major UK retailers and will provide logistics services in the UK for China’s leading e-commerce supply chain solution providers, including Cainiao, Shein, Temu and TikTok.

Yodel CEO Mike Hancox said that with the rapid development of China’s e-commerce platform, the number of international parcels Yodel handled from China increased significantly last year. To expand Yodel’s influence in the Chinese market, the company also introduced a new international account director and decided to invest in air cargo and develop infrastructure to handle more packages.
