Local Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident Near Pehuen co Beach
Pehuen Co, Argentina – A 25-year-old Bahía Blanca resident, Iván Safar, was hospitalized this afternoon following a serious motorcycle accident in the sand dunes near Pehuen Co beach.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. near the Vialidad campground,an area accessible only by four-wheel drive vehicles. Police and lifeguards responded to the scene and found Safar, who had sustained a head injury after falling from his enduro motorcycle.
Safar was riding with a freind at the time of the accident. According to his friend, Safar lost control of the bike in the loose sand.
“It sounds pretty serious,” said Maria, a local resident. “He was riding with a friend near the Vialidad campground, which is out past the paved roads, you know, accessible only by 4x4s.His friend said he just lost control.”
Safar was transported by ambulance to Hospital Penna for treatment.This is not safar’s first time in the news. Last year, he made headlines when a prank involving a modified Mercado Pago alias went awry, leading to confusion with a legitimate fundraising campaign for victims of a devastating storm. Safar publicly apologized for the incident, stating it was a mistake and expressing remorse for the confusion it caused.
“I want to apologize publicly as this has gone beyond bahía blanca,” Safar said at the time. “it’s a huge mess and I could get in trouble; it was a mistake. I’m very ashamed to have to do this,but it’s the right thing to do.”
