Nice to meet you. My name is Motohiro Kotera.
I was born and raised in Uji, Kyoto, completed a year of legal training in Osaka, and now work as a lawyer in Nagoya.

When I was a student, I noticed that I felt happy when I solved someone else’s problem. I thought, “I want to have a job where I can help people in trouble, a job where I can give people strength,” and I decided to become a lawyer.

“I became a lawyer because I want to help people in need” may be a cliché, and many lawyers may say the same thing. However, I believe it is absolutely necessary to sincerely engage with clients who come to consult with me and guide them in the direction of a solution, and this feeling is the origin of my career as a lawyer.
