What is the Global Day of Youth Evangelism?
The Global Day of Youth Evangelism (DGYE) is an annual, one-day event focused on equipping and mobilizing young people to share their Christian faith. Organized by Dare to Share, the event encourages youth to proactively proclaim the gospel within their communities and beyond.
This year’s event builds on the foundation laid by Dare to Share, an international movement founded by Greg Stier. Dare to Share provides resources and training to help young people confidently and effectively communicate their beliefs.
Event Details and Resources
Participants will utilize specially prepared, video-based materials designed to facilitate discussion and inspire action. The DGYE is intended to be more than a single event; organizers envision it as a catalyst for a sustained, worldwide movement focused on evangelism.
Youth groups, churches, and individuals can register for the event and access resources at DGYE.org. Registration allows access to event materials and connects participants with the broader global network.
The Goal: Reaching a Generation
The overarching aim of the Global Day of Youth Evangelism is to reach a generation with a message of hope and faith. Organizers believe that young people have a unique capacity to connect with their peers and share a message of life, hope, and eternity found in Christianity.
The event seeks to empower young believers to be a “bold voice of hope” in a world often characterized by uncertainty and challenges.
