Seventy-four percent of French⁣ people trust details from professional media​ outlets, while 12% place more ‍trust in​ information⁣ shared by their‌ close contacts (22% among those aged 25-34). Television remains the most⁢ frequently consulted medium ​for news,followed⁤ by the internet,radio,and‌ print media. ‌Moreover, 91% of french people believe there are more and more rumors ⁣or false information on the internet and social‍ networks.

YouTube announced‌ March 4 that ​it would⁣ expand its rules to‍ protect adolescents from problematic videos.
