The creator behind the popular channel Wiracle deleted or made private a total of 14 videos following sharp public backlash over a recent controversy involving a public service worker, according to reporting confirmed by OSEN on September 1, 2026. The digital purge began on August 23, 2026. That day, Park deleted a video titled ‘CCTV 영상을 공개하는 이유,’ which detailed an incident when he disembarked from a KTX train. Over the course of the following week, Park switched 13 additional videos to private status on the channel.

The fallout struck the channel’s metrics immediately. According to OSEN, the subscriber count dropped from 1 million to 955,000 following the controversy. The deleted content includes videos titled ‘하반신 마비인 사람이 KTS 타는 법’ and ‘한숨만 나옵니다….’ These were originally released in August 2022 under tags such as ‘사회실험카메라’ (social experiment camera) and ‘불편한 진실’ (uncomfortable truth).
Retrospective Criticism from Netizens
As viewers revisited the older footage, a wave of criticism took shape. Netizens reviewing the clips argued the presentation missed the mark entirely. Instead of focusing on gratitude toward citizens who gave up seats or assisted with wheelchairs, the videos compared domestic conditions with overseas examples. Commenters pointed out that the videos portrayed South Korea negatively regarding disability awareness rather than promoting constructive change.
An Apology Fails to Stem the Outcry
Before the video removals accelerated, Park issued an apology addressing the public service worker dispute.
I did not consider the position of the staff member who had tried their best to help me and had politely apologized. I thought only negatively about mistakes that occurred in the process of helping me better. My way of conveying it was immature and my thinking was short-sighted,
Park stated.
Despite the statement, public criticism persisted. The creator’s words only served to fuel further scrutiny of the channel’s past content.
