A well-known YouTuber, Kenny Chan, also known as Ka Wai Chan, has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a <a href="https://www.newsdirectory3.com/feline-frenzy-beloved-temple-cat-lele-vanishes-youtubers-arrest-sparks-joyful-reunion/” title=”Feline Frenzy: Beloved Temple Cat Lele Vanishes, YouTuber's Arrest Sparks Joyful Reunion”>free-range cat named “Le Le” from the Pak Tai Temple in Hung Hom.
The temple had been searching for “Le Le” after it went missing during the super typhoon ”Capricorn” that hit Hong Kong. Netizens joined the search online and discovered that Kenny had posted about rescuing stray cats on the day of the typhoon and shared a photo with a cat that resembled “Le Le”. When a netizen asked him if the cat was indeed “Le Le”, they were immediately kicked out of the group.
The Hung Hom Police Station received a report from a 77-year-old man surnamed Kwan that a nine-year-old free-range cat was found in the temple, and someone on the platform had the suspected lost cat “Le Le”. The police arrested Kenny on suspicion of “theft” and recovered “Le Le”.
Kenny started his YouTube channel in 2018 and gained popularity for his ridiculous life videos. His most famous video, “〈Tasting Theatre〉 $22/1 for ‘Vita VITA Low Sugar VLT Lemon Tea’! Is it good to drink?”, became a hit among young people, and the phrase “love you chirp” became a popular catchphrase.
In a past interview with Decrypt Studio, Kenny revealed his difficult childhood, saying that his parents got married after being introduced by relatives but did not live together and did not plan to have a baby. He was left in the care of his aunt after birth and had a strained relationship with his mother.
