On September 8,⁢ the 2024 China Industrial Transfer and Development Matchmaking Event (Yunnan) opened in Kunming. Wang Yubo, deputy secretary of the Yunnan Provincial⁤ Party Committee and governor, made a promotional speech at the opening and ‍signing ceremony, elaborating that “the transfer​ of industries to Yunnan and other western regions ‍has the right time, location and people. The time has come, the momentum has been formed and its prosperity is ​just around the corner.”

The development of industrial transfer ⁢has received high attention from General Secretary Xi ⁤Jinping​ and the Party Central Committee,⁢ has the support of a series of major national policies, and has the coordinated efforts of national ⁤ministries ⁤and commissions, provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and ⁣enterprises. It can be ‍said that “the best time is ‍now.” By investing and starting a business in Yunnan and moving in the ⁢same direction​ as the national strategy,​ the ⁢road ⁢will surely⁣ become⁣ wider and wider.

The ​types of vertebrates, higher​ plants⁢ and Chinese medicinal materials resources account for more than half of the country’s total.

The‌ location ⁣advantage is outstanding. Backed by a strong⁢ domestic⁣ market of⁣ 1.4 ​billion people, it connects the international markets of South Asia and‌ Southeast Asia⁣ with​ 2.4 ⁢billion people. The “golden line” effect of the China-Laos Railway continues to expand, and the ⁣”Shanghai-Yunnan-Lancang-Mekong ‍Line” and “Guangdong-Yunnan-Lancang-Mekong Line” ​have ​greatly shortened⁣ the transportation time. There are 28 ports, and more than 10,000 enterprises in various provinces,⁤ autonomous regions and municipalities import and export goods from Yunnan ports.

In recent ‌years, the Yunnan Provincial⁢ Party Committee and the Provincial Government have implemented the‍ three-year action plan to create a first-class business environment,⁤ held regular discussions and exchanges with​ private enterprises, promoted the “sit-and-receive complaints” service ​by department and⁣ bureau directors, and completed 10 practical things to benefit enterprises⁣ every year, continuously polishing the business environment ​brand ‍of “Yunnan Efficiency, Yunnan Service, Yunnan Integrity”, and achieved very​ good ⁣results.

We will continue to optimize government services, promote “one-stop” offline ​services,‌ “one-stop ⁣service” for online services, and “first-line​ response” ⁣for corporate demands, improve the regular communication mechanism between government ​and enterprises, and⁣ achieve an online service rate of 98% for government services. We‌ will sort out and announce two batches ⁣of policies to​ benefit and strengthen enterprises, ​totaling 205‌ items, so that‍ enterprises can “run less errands”​ or “no⁤ errands” at all.
