Yusra Commemorates Hisham Selim’s Death Anniversary

Egyptian artist Yusra paid tribute to the late artist Hisham Selim on the anniversary of his death by sharing a heartfelt post on her official social media account.

Yusra shared a picture of herself with Hisham Selim, accompanied by a touching message: “Time flies when you are in our hearts and with us with your sweet soul.”

She expressed her deep sorrow and longing for the late artist, saying: “We miss you so much and I can’t describe to you the void we are in after you, my dear. Your sweet biography is always on every tongue, and till today the talk about you is not over. God bless you, have mercy on you, grant you the highest level of Paradise and make our hearts patient in your separation, my beloved man.”

Yusra concluded her post by requesting her followers to pray for Hisham Selim’s soul: “Please read al-Fatiha on the soul of dear beloved, brother and friend Hisham Selim.”

Many artists responded to Yusra’s post, including Reham Abdel Ghafoor, who wrote: “God bless him in heaven, O Lord,” and Hend Sabri, who said: “A thousand blessings and light to you, Hisham.”

Hisham Selim passed away in 2022 at the age of 64 after a long battle with illness. His last work was the series “Counterattack”, which was released last year and starred Ahmed Eze, Hend Sabri, Magda Zaki, and Salah Abdullah.
