Former Hinatazaka46 member and actor Yuka Kageyama recently participated in the Pokémon Card Game Champions League 2025 Tokyo tournament as an invited player. She took to her official Instagram account to share her thoughts on the experience and revealed the recipe for the deck she used in the tournament.
Kageyama expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the tournament, saying, “Thank you for the two days of the Pokémon Card Game Champions League 2025 Tokyo. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate as an invited player and for all the various connections that have come my way.”
She also shared her experience of competing in the tournament, revealing that she had three wins and three losses. “I’m currently filming an acclaimed drama, and I’ve been practicing diligently during my commute and after work, but I just felt like I didn’t have enough time or amount of practice. So I was really happy to actually win three times!”
Kageyama thanked the Pokémon card fans who supported her during the tournament, saying, “To everyone who gave me so much ideas and advice as a Pokémon card beginner, and who joined me in practicing, and to everyone who enjoyed Pokémon cards with me and supported me on the day of the tournament. Once again, thank you so much!”
She also shared her experience of using the Lugia VSTAR deck, saying, “I had a lot of fun experiencing the charms of the Lugia VSTAR deck I held, with its 2-hand Assemble Star on the first turn and Gottsuan Prefify. I also had the <a href="https://www.newsdirectory3.com/cyfweliadyuka-kageyama-6-years-of-history-appreciation-and-new-encountersrhan-1-soccer-king/” title=”[Cyfweliad]Yuka Kageyama ~6 Years of History ~ Appreciation and New Encounters[Rhan 1]| Soccer King”>dream opportunity to sit in the commentary booth and, with the generous support of the commentators, I enjoyed the match and cheered on from the bottom of my heart!”
Kageyama was impressed by the variety of decks and play styles she saw during the tournament, saying, “What’s more, I was able to see such a wide variety of decks and play styles that the word ‘rivalry of warlords’ was a perfect fit, and there were many battles between Lugia VSTAR decks in the finals and on the live stream, so I really learned a lot! It was amazing!”
She concluded by saying, “I also wanted to learn more about the world of Pokémon cards so that I can have even more fun with all of you. Above all, I have come to love Pokémon and Pokémon cards even more. I will continue to work hard so that I can meet you all again soon. Please get plenty of rest.”
