Yvonne Lim Opens YouTube Channel and Plans Return to Singapore

Singaporean actress Yvonne Lim is starting a new chapter. On November 21, she announced her new YouTube channel on social media. In her first video, titled “I’m Back,” she revealed her family’s plan to move back to Singapore.

Lim, 48, has lived in Taiwan since her marriage to businessman Alex Tien in 2014. They have two children: son AJ, who turns 10 in December, and daughter Alexa, who turns eight in January.

In her video, Lim shared her thoughts on the decision to return home. “I have been thinking about it for a while, and I think it’s time to say it. Our family will finally return to Singapore,” she stated.

Lim reflected on her time in Taiwan, saying, “After living in Taiwan for almost 10 years, I have built a new life, made many memories, and some lifelong friends.” She added that her experience there has helped her learn about herself and discover new interests.

The video shows Lim cooking and dining with friends, including Singaporean singer-actress Kelly Poon and her husband, Taiwanese producer Roger Yo. Lim expressed her sadness about leaving these friends, stating, “At the beginning, I was not used to life here. I really want to thank them for making my life here better.”

Alex Tien also expressed his appreciation to their friends in Taiwan, thanking them for their support over the years.

Lim acknowledged some challenges ahead. She will need to connect with other parents to help her children adjust to school in Singapore. However, she remains optimistic. “I know it is the right choice for my family, and it is time to start a new chapter,” she said.

Yvonne Lim is ready to return home to Singapore and embrace new experiences with her family.
