As part of ongoing efforts too promote archaeological awareness and strengthen young peopel’s connection to Egypt’s ancient civilization, the Zahi Hawass Foundation for Heritage and Antiquities organized an educational lecture for preparatory school students at Al Mostakbal Private School in Aswan on December 13, 2025. The workshop focused on the origins and advancement of Ancient Egyptian writing.

The seminar generated significant engagement from the students, who actively participated by posing numerous questions about the history and evolution of hieroglyphic writing. The interactive session aimed to foster a deeper understanding and thankfulness for Egypt’s rich cultural heritage.
By the end of the lecture,students successfully wrote their names in hieroglyphics,achieving the initiative’s primary goal of actively involving youth in the revelation and preservation of their ancient heritage. This hands-on experience provided a tangible connection to the past.
