Zamalek Set for Major Boost: Naeem al-Seliti’s Highly-Anticipated Arrival Revealed
Naeem Al-Seliti Set to Join Zamalek Club’s First Team
Recent reports from Qatari press outlets have revealed that Tunisian footballer Naeem Al-Seliti, formerly of Qatari Al-Ahly, is on the verge of joining Zamalek club’s first team during the current summer transfer window.
A journalist from Qatari Doha Stadium has confirmed that Al-Seliti, a former Qatari Al-Ahly player, is close to signing with Zamalek after receiving an offer that will mark a new phase in his career.
Al-Seliti previously played for Al-Ahli last season but was forced to leave the team due to an injury sustained during the external training camp for the current season. He had requested to cancel his contract by mutual consent, paving the way for Moroccan Idris Fatouhi to take his place.
Throughout his career, Al-Seliti has had several notable experiences, with his time at Saudi Al-Ittifaq being particularly successful. He spent four seasons with the team, achieving great success during his tenure.
Al-Seliti’s impressive track record includes scoring 10 goals with Al-Ahly last season in the Qatar Stars League, as well as an additional seven goals for his side.
Although Al-Seliti was previously close to joining Al Wakrah as the eighth professional to participate in the AFC Champions League 2, he ultimately preferred to gain experience with a club that competes in all tournaments, not just Asian competitions.
