Zamalek Club Takes Action Against Aaron Bubendza’s Transfer to Rapid Bucharest

Zamalek Club has initiated the process of canceling its contract with Gabonese player Aaron Bubendza following his official signing with Romanian club Rapid Bucharest.

A club source revealed that Zamalek will file an official complaint with FIFA, asserting that the club followed proper procedures in the matter. The source stated that Zamalek’s President, Hussain Labi, was the one who signed the contract with the player.

Zamalek has sent an official warning to Rapid Bucharest, confirming that Aaron Bubendza is a player on their team. The player has also received a warning, and the club will take all necessary measures to protect its rights.

The source emphasized that Zamalek will not register Aaron Bubendza in the local team list, contrary to recent reports. The club has already registered five foreign players and will not add any more, which may impact the fate of Samson Akinola. The contract with Aaron Bubendza was contingent on him staying with the team, and his departure is not currently being considered.
