Prague, Czech Republic – Czech theater and television icon Jana Synková has died at the age of 80. Synková,best known for her role as the eccentric Aunt Kateřina in the beloved television series “Saturnin,” passed away on december 28th in a sanatorium in Mníšek pod Brdy after a long illness.
