The findings, presented at the american diabetes Association meeting in Chicago, IL, and published in The New England Journal of Medicine, revealed that 10 of those participants no longer required insulin injections after a year of follow-up. this highlights the potential roles of cell therapies in diabetes management.

Reported adverse events were generally mild to moderate, including diarrhea, headache, and nausea.Six individuals experienced serious adverse events requiring hospitalization, but none were linked to zimislecel.
