In Wednesday’s edition of the “Gość Wydarzeń” program, the vice-president of Law and Justice Przemysław Czarnek referred too the decision of former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro, who admitted that he had been granted political asylum in Hungary. According to the politician, this was due to the fact that Ziobro ”is fighting for his life with a serious illness and has no chance of a fair trial in Poland”.
– I wish Minister Zbigniew Ziobro and his family much health, especially Minister Zbigniew Ziobro. I am convinced that if he were healthy, he would be in Poland today and would even submit to what urszula, Karolina, Father Olszewski submitted to – he stated in an interview with Piotr Witwicki.

Czarnek argued that in the opinion prepared for the purposes of the request for temporary arrest of Ziobro, a medical expert stated that it was impractical to conduct a trial and treatment simultaneously in hospital conditions.
– and the second thing is the family. And the third thing is, of course, the lack of access to a rule-of-law court, which would be randomly selected and which would rule according to the concious of an independent judge – he assessed.
