Zoom Video Communications appointed Jeff Epstein, former Oracle Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, to its Board of Directors, according to announcements on August 31, 2026, and September 2, 2026. The appointment took effect on August 31, 2026, positioning Epstein as a Class I director with a term running through the company’s 2029 annual meeting of stockholders.
Board Transition and Executive Background
Epstein arrives at Zoom from his current role as an operating partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, where he has worked since 2011 and leads the firm’s CFO Advisory Board. His corporate finance resume includes serving as CFO and EVP at Oracle Corporation from 2008 to 2011, alongside prior CFO posts at DoubleClick Inc., King World Productions, and Nielsen’s Media Measurement and Information Group.
Zoom CEO and Board Chairman Eric Yuan praised the new appointment by highlighting Epstein’s background in technology finance. Jeff’s extensive financial and strategic leadership, particularly across B2B software and vertical AI, make him a strong addition to the Zoom Board,
Yuan stated.
Epstein’s addition coincides with the upcoming departure of longtime board member Jonathan Chadwick. Chadwick will step down on November 19, 2026, after nearly ten years of service that began in 2017, having guided the enterprise through its initial public offering and subsequent remote work scaling phases.
