For pensions exceeding the 2,900 złoty gross threshold, the benefit decreases according to a strict sliding scale known as the “zloty for zloty” rule. Gazeta Prawna explains that for every zloty the base pension surpasses 2,900 złoty, the fourteenth pension is reduced by one zloty.
