[속보] Chun Doo-hwan died at his home this morning… 91 years old

Chun Doo-hwan passed away on the morning of the 23rd at the age of 91.

It is reported that Jeon collapsed and died at his house in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul around 8:40 am today.

The time reported to the police and fire department was 8:55 am today, and the police confirmed the death at around 9:10 am.

Jeon’s eldest son, Jeon Jae-guk, said in a phone call with KBS that the family was gathered in Yeonhui-dong’s house. The burial place has not been decided yet.

Jeon was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, and has been receiving treatment. It was possible to walk inside the house and communicate easily, but it is said that his health has deteriorated to the point that it is difficult to go out recently.
