On the 14th, Park Soo-hyeon, senior presidential secretary for public communication at the Blue House, responded to the opposition’s criticism of the 4th anniversary of the ‘Moon Jae-in Care’ performance report contest, saying, “It is vulgar to only rebuke self-praise for reporting shortcomings that have not yet been achieved as a task.”

On the same day, Chief Park posted on Facebook, ‘The president’s story not in the briefing’ and said, “On August 9, the ‘Moon Jae-in Care’, a representative achievement of the Moon Jae-in administration, has reached its fourth year. There is no denying that it has become a policy of the people that the people support and depend on,” he said.

The day before, Kim Ki-hyeon, floor leader of the People’s Power, criticized the 4th anniversary performance report contest of ‘Moon Jae-in Care’, saying, “It was a self-congratulatory show that made the people salty.” Regarding ‘Moon Jae-in Care’, he said, “It pays off debt,” and presented figures such as a deficit in health insurance finance for three consecutive years, a sharp decline in accumulated reserves, and a surge in total expenditure.

Park recalled, “President Moon ordered that a few days after taking office, he ordered that he be prepared to announce the priority plan for the promotion of health insurance coverage and the national responsibility system for dementia.”

He continued, “When I look back on the backlash from the medical community after the announcement of ‘Moon Jae-in Care’, I personally think that it was obvious that ‘Moon Jae-in Care’ would not be on the right track if it had gone through this usual process and would only have repeated controversy.”

Park said, “Until recently, the president’s order to strengthen the coverage of health insurance is still in progress. did,” he said.

He added, “President Moon cannot completely protect Moon Jae-in’s care alone. It’s just the beginning. He may have just started walking on two feet.

‘Moon Jae-in Care’ is one of the government’s representative pledges announced on August 9, 2017, with a goal of increasing the coverage rate to 70% by spending 30.6 trillion won between 2017 and 2022.
