[겜ㅊㅊ] What if Gotham was sad? 4 open world superhero games

※ [겜ㅊㅊ]is a corner that recommends games that gamers can enjoy based on a special theme each week.

Gotham Knights, a city guardian side game that protects Gotham from the death of Batman was released on the 22nd. It was expected that it would be a Batman IP game that appeared in a long time without bad graphics, but there was once a bad public opinion due to reasons such as setting the frame of the console version. Since then, it has been somewhat disappointing due to the extreme frame dropping phenomenon and lack of gamepad vibration support in Steam and consoles.

However, there is hope as there are other highly anticipated superheroes such as Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad in the future. In this game, we would like to present a collection of superhero open world games that are good to try before the release of these highly anticipated games.

1. Marvel Spider-Man Remastered

The first game I would like to introduce is the Marvel Spider-Man Remaster, which is indispensable in open world superhero games. It was originally PS exclusive, but with the PC release in August, more people can play. As well as capturing the panoramic view of New York in detail, the vertical axis was also detailed in order to freely use Spider-Man’s signature technique, the web swing.

The game focuses a little more on Spider-Man than on Peter Parker. Our neighbors, who bring peace to the people and defeat the bad guys in New York City. Although this process provides an experience similar to that of the ‘anaphragmatic open world’, it does not seem to be a major disadvantage as it provides an experience that cannot be replaced in other games through the swing of the web in the process of moving and browsing .

The DualSense controller provides a proven gaming experience such as haptic feedback and trigger effects, which can also be experienced in the PC version. In addition, in the case of the PC version, ray tracing, ultra-wide monitor support, and frame rate release are provided so that users can actively use their individual performance. As such, it is a game that will not disappoint as it comfortably provides optimized features for supported platforms and devices.

2. Batman Arkham Knight

The next game to be introduced is the final chapter of the Batman Arkham trilogy, Arkham Knight. It is said to have opened a new horizon for superhero games. Even though it’s a 2015 work, the graphics are impressive even if you look at it now. Especially, the wet Arkham City filled with rainwater immediately shows the background and atmosphere of Batman. In addition to this, the sense of the crew was added which melted Batman’s battles and movements into the game, and it was well received by Batman fans and gamers.

Arkham Knights, the culmination of the Arkham trilogy, focuses on the final battle for the future of Gotham. You can meet Batman, who protects Arkham, the blood-sucking god, from multiple villains. This process, which would be difficult if you are alone, becomes more convenient with the ‘Batmobile’, which is a collection of advanced technology. With the Batmobile, players run around to protect Arkham City, helping them pursue, explore and investigate, as well as battle and solve puzzles.

In the process, Arkham, the game’s setting, is more than five times larger than its predecessor, Batman: Arkham City. However, this can be easily overcome with efficient use of the Batmobile. Even if you buy the entire Arkham series trilogy, the price is similar to the recent full price game, so if you haven’t tried it yet, it’s an old game, so it’s not bad played it once before turning away.

3. Marvel Avengers

The next game to be introduced is Marvel Avengers. Compared to the previous two games, it’s a game with relatively low ratings, but given the constant follow-up support and the addition of heroes, it’s a game that fans can enjoy for a long time even if it’ n shallow In addition to movies, there is an irreplaceable advantage of being able to meet costumes that were previously available in various media in one place. Collectively, if the previous two games are meals, Marvel Avengers is a game like snacks.

The main goal of the game is to travel around the world, perform missions, and protect peace. In this process, you can freely use the abilities and skills of various heroes. It also supports single player and co-op at the same time, so you can feel like you’re playing alone or with your fellow Avengers. Since its release in 2020, it has continued to update in September, and the recent evaluation has risen to ‘generally positive’, so I think it would be good to enjoy it with a light mind.

4. LEGO Marvels

The last game I would like to introduce is Lego Incredibles. It is one of the LEGO game series that people of all ages can enjoy. The informal nature of Lego, the story dealing with family love, and the quality of the game were surprisingly well received. In particular, it shows the process of using a hero’s skills by changing the view, so that you can easily solve the puzzle that presents difficulties by using each hero.

The story develops in a similar direction to the media, and the difficulty and atmosphere are also light and easy, which has the advantage of less fatigue during play. In the process, you can also see the agony of the Farah family, who have to maintain the role of hero and family and study at the same time. Being a franchise that emphasizes the importance of family, it is full of fun that goes along with the game’s features, such as providing two-player multiplayer.
