# Ether future decline

# XRP continues to surge

“Even if central banks tighten monetary policy, the situation will not worsen,” Griffin Arden, a volatility trader at cryptocurrency asset manager Blofin, told CoinDesk in an email.

“The current performance of crypto assets is pretty horrible,” he added.

XRP rose more than 30% in the cryptocurrency market, with most stocks down over the past week.

Market analyst Santiment cited the spread of optimism among traders as a factor in the recent rise in XRP.

According to Santiment, trader optimism is spreading about the ongoing legal case between Ripple and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Algorand’s surge began after it recently announced that it had hired Michelle Quantagli as its new chief marketing officer, according to Cryptobriefing.

Quintagli’s experience at famous companies like Visa and Fidelity seems to have high expectations from investors.

Coinbase shares fell 6.95% to close at $62.94.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones fell 0.36%, the Nasdaq fell 1.37% and the S&P 500 fell 0.85%.
