I told you about the ‘three mothers and daughters charter fraud case’, which stole 30 billion won in deposits from tenants using hundreds of villas.
As we did our research, we found that this kind of fraud was rampant.
It was a method of extorting money from tenants by buying hundreds of villas and officetels with little of their own money.
First, let’s take a look at reporter Hong Shin-young’s exclusive report.

Mo Lee, who bought a rental villa for 260 million won in Sillim-dong, Seoul two years ago.
However, I discovered the problem late in February of this year.
When I took a copy of the register, the very next day I moved in, the landlord had changed to a real estate rental company.
This company was in arrears on taxes, and the tax office was seized.

“You always check the register even the day you move in. There may be foreclosures and this. But until the day you move in, it’s really clean, and it’s just starting to change.”
The new landlord asked me to pay an additional 30 million won to release the foreclosure.

“I’m going to have to release the foreclosure, pay income tax and transfer tax, and I have to eat the rest, and we talk really openly.”
Who is the landlord?
171 houses in Seoul, 207 houses in Incheon, 83 houses in Gyeonggi-do.
There are 461 houses in the metropolitan area alone.
I went to the office and it was just a shared office.
When I called the CEO, he said that he was also having a hard time because of the tax.

“In 2021, no other country in the world imposed a property tax of 3.2 billion won, the country. The property tax is neither my responsibility nor the tenant’s responsibility. It was just imposed by the country. We were breathing the same.”
When the tenants asked what they were going to do, their voices grew louder.

“Calling the guy running around with a flag on how to make it less damaging to the tenants. What? What do you do if you know what I’m thinking? Bubbly! No, reporter Bubbly is an executive at this company? Issa? Is the CEO of OO Housing you? Are you on the phone with me? How much tax do you pay?”
These cases are not the only cases where charter fraud is suspected.
An office worker in his 20s who got a loan and bought an officetel with a deposit of 100 million won.
However, on the very same day that the world was weak, the owner of the house changed, and the tax office was also seized.
The landlord, Mr. Kwon Mo, has already had a notorious reputation among the tenants.
303 in Seoul, 641 in Incheon, 331 in Gyeonggi.
There are 1,275 houses in the metropolitan area.
The method is similar. They ask you to find another tenant at a higher price than the market price.

“After all, I’m a scammer, but to get away from the scammer, I’m in a position to beg for the scammer. 120 million seems to be too difficult. Please reduce the 1 million won. I am in a position to keep begging for a little more. It was like.”
While we were interviewing, another tenant contacted us, saying that he believed he had been scammed.
Who is the landlord?
The name is obviously different, but the phone number is identical to the representative number of the infamous Mr. Kwon, who owns 1,300 houses.

“The last number I received as the landlord is 2400. But the number among them is 010-XXXX-2400. XXXX right?”

“Oh my God… that’s shocking.”

“I’m a beginner and I haven’t had any money since I’ve just started socializing, and I’m in a situation like that, but this kind of situation has happened… It’s scary.”
The victims are mainly young people who have just started their social life.
When this happens, you lose all your fortune and start out of debt.
