Erlianhot in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is the largest overland trade zone connecting China and Mongolia. Import and export cargo volume of Erlianhot Trade Zone increased significantly in January.

According to China Railway Hohhot Group, the export and import cargo volume of Erlianhot Trade Zone in January exceeded 1.42 million tons, an increase of more than 90% compared with the same period last year. In January, import cargo exceeded 1.18 million tonnes and export cargo exceeded 238,600 tonnes.

In January last year, the cargo volume was relatively small following Corona 19. Hohhot National Group has taken various measures to improve support services this year.

Erlianhot Trade Zone operates 64 China-Europe freight train routes. Its operating routes connect more than 60 regions in 10 countries.
