On the 19th (local time), a ‘workpiece’ was drawn in the night sky of New Zealand, as if it was a miniature spiral galaxy. New Zealand local media reported on the 19th (local time) that a strange vortex shape wrapped in blue light appeared in the night sky over the South Island and other parts of the region that night.

This spiral, which moved with a shining blue color, first appeared in the sky around 7 pm on the same day, and after that, it became a big topic on social media networks (SNS). “The spiral looked like a planet or star in the night sky,” said one resident. “It was so beautiful to see it moving across the sky.”

If you look at the images taken by real residents and published on social media, the unusual shape looks like a miniature spiral galaxy like our Milky Way. As soon as the first spiral appeared in the sky, various speculations continued on SNS about its identity, but the answer came out soon. According to experts, the spiral was created by SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. Earlier, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA at 12:27 am EST on the same day.

▲ On the 6th of last month, a ‘space jellyfish’ phenomenon was observed in the sky after rocket launch in Florida and parts of Georgia.

After that, strange shapes appeared in New Zealand’s skies, created by exhaust fumes from the Falcon 9’s rocket engine nozzles. The dim light of the sun over the horizon illuminates the exhaust gases, creating a picture like this in the sky.

In fact, the Falcon 9 rocket has created strange shapes in the night sky several times after launch in the past.

Last month, after rocket launches in Florida and Georgia, a jellyfish-like shape spread out in the night sky, drawing attention. It is a collaboration between nature and human beings in the night sky.
