At the National Power of Peoples Presidential Candidate Nomination Convention held at the Baekbeom Memorial Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 5th, Yoon became a candidate with 307,963 final converted votes (47.85%).
Rep. Hong Jun-pyo, who was the strongest competitor in the primary, came in second with 301,786 votes (41.50%). Former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min came in third with 7.47%, and former Jeju Provincial Governor Won Hee-ryong came in fourth with 3.17%.
As expected, the results of the general opinion polls and the electoral college votes were largely mixed. Former President Yoon received 213,934 votes (57.77%) in the electoral college vote and 137,929 votes (37.9375%) in the opinion poll, respectively. Rep. Hong Joon-pyo received 126,519 votes (34.8%) in the electoral college vote and 175,267 votes (48.2075%) in the opinion poll. In the electoral college vote, former President Yoon led 24 percentage points, while Hong took a 10 percentage point lead in the polls.
On the other hand, there are Seo-yeon Yoon, Seo-yeon Top Metal, Deok-seong, Deok Seong-woo, NE Eung-yeol, Woongjin, Kleinnara, Noroo Paint, Noroo Holdings, and Crown Confectionery.
