[특징주] ShillaJen, down 3%… 2 consecutive days of weakness

Shillajen

[인포스탁데일리=임유진 기자] On the 19th, Shillajen (215600) continued to decline for two consecutive trading days.

As of 12:09 pm that day, ShillaJen is trading at 12,450 won, down 3.86% (500 won) from the previous trading day. At one point at the start of the market, it dropped to 12,200 won.

This weakness in the stock price is interpreted as the effect of profit-taking listings due to a short-term surge in Shillajen’s stock price.

ShillaJen, which resumed trading after two years and five months, rose for three consecutive trading days from the 13th to the 17th, and then began to decline after four trading days the previous day. The day before, it was traded at 12,950 won, down 1,500 won (10.69%).

Previously, in May 2020, ShillaJen was suspended from trading in stocks on charges of embezzlement and breach of trust by executives including Moon Eun-sang, the former CEO of Shillajen, the largest shareholder.

In November 2020, the Korea Exchange decided to delist in January this year after allowing a one-year recovery period. Then, in February, the KOSDAQ Market Committee granted a six-month period for improving management.
