Russia’s attack on Ukraine began on February 24, 2022, and in the following year, tens of thousands of people, many of them civilians, were killed.

In the midst of a war that continues without an exit, the arms race and the camps formed around the world have intensified, and have a major impact on economic crises and food shortages.

Let’s look at the record of the war in Ukraine for a year through pictures.

▲ US President Biden made a surprise visit to Kiuu, Ukraine
US President Biden visits Kiiu, Ukraine (Kiu AFP = Yonhap News) US President Joe Biden (right) visits Ukraine’s capital Kiu on the 20th (local time) and is welcomed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
