Nowon-gu Mayor Oh Seung-rok (right) is giving a greeting at the ‘2024 Danghyeoncheon Cherry Blossom Concert’ held at the Danghyeoncheon Floor Fountain next to Korea Bible University in Nowon-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 30th.

The Danghyeoncheon Cherry Blossom Concert is the district’s representative cultural performance project designed to allow residents to enjoy high-quality music performances at ‘Danghyeoncheon,’ the most convenient and frequently visited healing space.

On this day, ▲Jang Sa-ik, who sings about the joys and sorrows of life with the sad emotions of Korean melodies and pop songs, ▲Musical actor Choi Jeong-won, who represents the first generation of Korean musicals, ▲Soprano Shim Gyu-yeon, who captivates the audience with her elegant and sweet sound, ▲Gyu-yeon Shim, who is recognized internationally for her musicianship The Western Symphony Orchestra appeared and provided healing time to residents tired of daily life.



Meanwhile, Nowon-gu will hold the ‘2024 Bulam Azalea Festival: Spring Again’ in the Bulam Mountain Healing Town area from April 20th to 28th. The ‘Bulam Mountain Azalea Festival’ is one of the five major festivals representing Nowon, and is scheduled to be held every weekend with a variety of cultural programs in accordance with the azalea blooming season at Nowon-gu’s representative attraction ‘Azalea Garden’, where 100,000 azaleas bloom.

Oh Seung-rok, mayor of Nowon-gu, said, “I hope that the daily lives of residents will be enriched through a high-quality concert held close to home with the fluttering cherry blossoms, cool breeze, and the sound of water from Danghyeoncheon Stream.”
