The strategy focuses on digital inclusion, accelerating the digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and cultivating a supportive environment for national‌ technology companies.

Seghrouchni emphasized the importance of supporting regional innovation ecosystems and local entrepreneurship as crucial components of this strategy. ⁣Investments, regulatory changes, and‌ international partnerships⁣ are all being leveraged to achieve thes goals.

“All these mechanisms give us ⁢the necessary support as a support ⁢structure to be even better armed and to ⁣support ⁢a larger ⁣number of startups,” Benmakhlouf stated,⁢ emphasizing ⁣the need for quantifiable metrics to demonstrate success. She reported that 36% of the 450 digital startups and vrey small enterprises (VSEs) supported by Technopark currently export to Europe, Africa, the united States, and the Middle East.

Morocco’s strategy is well-aligned with⁤ broader‍ trends in Africa,⁤ where ⁣digital transformation is seen as a ⁢critical driver of economic development. The focus on digital inclusion and SME digitalization is especially meaningful,‍ as these segments often⁣ lack the resources to adopt new ⁢technologies independently. The export⁤ figures cited by Technopark are encouraging, suggesting that Moroccan startups‌ are competitive in international markets. However, sustained growth will require continued investment
