100 People Evacuated After Ammonia Leak

Around 100 people were evacuated on Thursday evening following an ammonia leak in a company building in Stabio, Switzerland, according to cantonal police.

The leak occurred shortly after 9 p.m. And was caused by a broken pipe, as stated by Ticino police during the night.

Emergency procedures were immediately triggered, leading to the evacuation of the affected business and neighboring buildings.
