One person was critically wounded in a shooting on the eastbound 105 Freeway near Vermont Avenue in South Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, prompting authorities to close multiple lanes for investigation.

The California Highway Patrol confirmed that a man was found with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle near the Vermont exit, leading to the closure of all eastbound lanes except the #5 lane as detectives processed the scene.
