According to the legal circles, the Fair Trade Investigation Department of the Seoul Central Prosecutors’ Office (Chief Prosecutor Jin-won Ko) sent prosecutors and investigators to the Samsung Welstory headquarters in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do this morning to secure data on food supply to affiliates.

In June of last year, the Fair Trade Commission issued a corrective order accusing Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and Samsung SDI of providing unfair support to Samsung Welstory by driving food supplies from affiliates. was charged

The Fair Trade Commission also filed a complaint with the prosecution against Choi Ji-sung, former head of the Samsung Group’s Future Strategy Office, and Samsung Electronics for violating the Fair Trade Act. Separately, the Citizens’ Coalition for Economic Justice (Kyungsilyeon) also filed a complaint against the former head of the company Choi and Hyun-ho Jeong, vice chairman of Samsung Electronics, on allegations of breach of trust.
