20 diamonds were found in an abandoned box on the Eastern Main Road. It was a box that a thief, who had stolen precious metals worth tens of millions of won from a gold and silver room, mistook the jewelery box for a simple business card box and threw it away.

The Uijeongbu Police Station in Gyeonggi-do announced on the 14th that it had arrested Mr A, a thief in his 50s, and handed him over to the prosecution. Mr. is accused. Earlier, the police arrested Mr A in a motel in Incheon two days after the incident through CCTV tracking.

The problem occurred in the process of returning the damaged items to Mr B, the owner of the gold and silver room. It was found that Mr. And had already sold some of the precious metals he had taken, because there was one item that was not recorded in the list of stolen items as well as the recovered items. It was a jewelery box containing 20 diamonds worth 12 million won.

Mr. claimed B the theft, but refuted Mr. And never saw the diamond. However, he said, “I threw a box full of business cards on the main east road in the direction of Seoul while driving.” The police judged that the box mentioned by Mr A was very likely to be a jewelery box, and proceeded to search along the escape route.

So on the 8th, I found a box that had fallen in the grass beyond a guardrail. In it, there were a total of 20 diamonds under the business cards. The entire amount is said to have been recovered because the discovery site was at the start of the runway, where there was a lot of traffic and few people.
