The 2024 All-Kansai University Women’s Basketball League began on Saturday, September 7th, with our university’s women’s basketball team taking part.

In the first match against Kobe Shinwa University, the game remained close from the first half and became a heated match. Towards the end of the match, our opponent was able to control the flow of the match, resulting in a loss in the first match. However, everyone was able to shift their mindset towards the next match, reflect on the issues that came up in the match, correct them, and prepare for the league. Although there were some games where we had difficult periods where we couldn’t get any shots, there were also many games in which we were able to find our own rhythm from the get-go in league matches, and many victories that we achieved through tenacious defense. We will continue to work hard as a team in the second half! Thank you for your support!
