2024 Game Awards Nominees Revealed: Zelda, Mario & More
The Game Awards 2024 nominees have been announced. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the event features strong contenders across various categories.
For Game of the Year, the nominees are:
- Astro Bot
- Balatro
- Black Myth: Wukong
- Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
- Metaphor: Refantazio
- Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree (DLC)
Expansion packs, DLC, remakes, remasters, and new game seasons are eligible this year for all categories, including Game of the Year.
Nintendo titles have received several nominations:
- The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is nominated for Best Action/Adventure and Best Family Game.
- Princess Peach: Showtime! is also a contender for Best Family Game.
- Super Mario Party Jamboree is nominated for Best Multiplayer.
- Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is recognized in the Most Anticipated category.
- Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is nominated for Best Mobile Game.
Voting for the Player’s Voice rounds begins on December 2, with the awards ceremony taking place on December 12.
