Karachi: Twenty-two children fainted due to generator smoke in a private school located in Hijrat Colony.
According to the details, the condition of 22 children in a private school located in Hijrat Colony Sector 2 of Karachi has deteriorated.
After the incident, SHO Civil Line Shahid Khan reached with the police contingent and Edhi Ambulance and volunteers are present at the spot and rescue operations are going on.
Rescue agencies say the generator was placed on the school grounds, causing smoke to fill the school.
The children have been taken out of the school and sent to the hospital for medical attention, where the condition of the children is out of danger.
The Directorate of Private Institutions took notice of the incident, following which a team from the Directorate has left to inspect the school.
