The official land price of the land owned by foreigners was KRW 32,455 billion, an increase of 1.2% compared to the end of 2021.

The foreign-owned area in Korea showed a high rate of increase between 2014 and 2015, but after the rate of increase slowed down from 2016, it has maintained a moderate increase* until now.

(By region) Gyeonggi occupied 18.5% (48,228,000 ㎡) of the total area owned by foreigners nationwide, followed by 14.9% (38,964,000 ㎡) in Jeonnam and 13.9% (36,348,000 ㎡) in Gyeonam.

(By use) Regarding the use of land owned by foreigners, 67.1% (174,862,000 ㎡) of other land, such as forests and farmland, accounted for the most, followed by 22.6% (59,034,000 ㎡) of factory land, 4.5% (11,781 thousand ㎡) of recreational land, and residential land. Confirmed as 4.2% (10,917,000㎡).

(By subject) As a result of the analysis of foreigners who own land by subject, Koreans of foreign nationality accounted for the largest share, which was 55.7% (145,155 thousand ㎡), and foreign corporations as joint ventures were accounting for 34.6% (90,114 thousand ㎡) . , 9.5% (24,928,000㎡) of pure foreigners, 0.2% (550,000㎡) of the government / group, etc.
