The first typhoon of this year, Ohmais, poured heavy rain overnight, causing more than 30 people to be displaced and flooding in various places.
According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters, as of 11 am today (24th), 33 people from 23 households have been affected, and 14 people from 4th households in Tongyeong, Gyeongnam and Ulsan are still unable to return home.
In Gyeongnam and North Gyeongsang Province, 20 commercial buildings and 18 houses were flooded, and 217 households in Busan and Ulsan suffered power outages.
1,157 people from 886 households were evacuated in advance in Busan, Gyeongnam, and Jeollanam-do to prepare for a sudden landslide or flooding.
