On May 2, the 3rd Nanning Go King Tournament and Adult Standing Stage Competition ended at the Nanning Workers’ Cultural Palace. After two days and eight rounds of fierce competition, 162 chess players won their seats.
“Chess King Tournament” is a creative event held by the Nanning Go Association in recent years. This year, a fixed segment content has been added. This event attracted 228 chess players to take part, with 162 players taking part in the open group competition and 66 players taking part in the youth group competition. Participating chess players will be ranked according to their points Players with the highest points will be eligible for promotion according to a certain proportion also the top scorers in the open group and the junior group will be awarded titles “Nanning Chess King” and “Nanning Junior Chess King” respectively.
