5 killed in landslide in southern China 6,000 people were displaced

A landslide in southern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region killed five people, China Central (CC) TV reported on the 19th.

According to reports, at around 7:30 a.m. the previous day, a landslide occurred in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the houses collapsed, leaving five residents missing.

The fire department conducted a search operation and found five people dead at the scene of the accident at around 7:40 pm that day.

CCTV reported that 5,970 people had been displaced by the afternoon of the previous day due to the rain in the area of ​​Liuzhou, and 18 houses collapsed, causing an economic loss of 15.77 million yuan (about 30 billion won).
